: A Knight's Shield
 Craft Project Directions: Charge off into battle with this fabulous shield. Cut the shield out of a heavier weight paper using the pattern provided or create a shield shape of your own. Next, cut a strip of paper about 1 inch wide and 5 inches long to make a handle for your shield. Decide which side is going to be the back and place the paper strip vertically in the center, push the ends towards each other so they bend forming a handle and then tape the ends in place. Flip the shield over and decorate with crayons, paper stripes, and emblematic designs.
