Let the Sun Sparkle Through this Pretty Pumpkin!
Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft you will need: orange and green crayons, a pencil sharpener, waxed paper, an iron, an adult, and some string. To start sharpen your ornage and green crayons and collect all of the scrapings. Lay out a piece of waxed paper and first sprinkle the orange scrapings onto it in the shape of a pumpkin. Next sprinkle the green scrapings on the top of pumpkin to make a pumpkin stem. Cover your creation with a second sheet of waxed paper. Now ask an adult to help you iron the waxed paper (on medium to low heat) until the crayon shavings melt together. It should take between 5 and 10 seconds. Cut out your pumpkin from the waxed paper and hang it by a string in the window.
