A Hershey Kiss & Candy Cane Santa Mouse Ornament!
Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft you will need 2 candy canes, a hershey kiss, some construction paper, a pipe cleaner, and some tape of glue. Take the two candy canes and arrange them in a heart shape by placing the bended ends together to form a heart. Tape them together. This will be your mouse's face. Next cut out 2 eyes, ears (two in one solid arcing piece), and a simple hat shape. Tape or glue the eyes to the sides of the candy cane and color them in. Tape or glue the ear piece to the top of the heart shape and place the Santa hat over the ears at a festive angle. Next take the pipe cleaner and cut it into short whisker pieces and set aside. Now take your hershey kiss and tape or glue it to the bottom of the heart shape for a nose and then wind the pipe cleaner pieces behind it for whiskers. Now you are ready to decorate your Santa Mouse ornament further if you wish- add cotton balls or glitter to the hat, color your mouse with crayon or marker, etc. Tape a ribbon or pipe cleaner loop onto the back when you are finished and hang on your tree!
