A wonderful holiday keepsake!

Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need a piece of corn with the husk removed, several pieces of newspaper, red, green, and black paint, a large rectangular piece of paper to be your placemat, a shallow pan to pour paint in, scissors, and some clear contact paper. First spread out your newspapers all over your work area so you won't get paint on things you don't want paint on. Next pour your paint in the shallow pan and twirl around your corn cob so it is completely covered in paint. Now place your large rectangular piece of paper on the newspaper and roll the corn cob across it to create some wonderful corn designs. Repeat with another color of paint and another corncob without the husk. Let your creation dry and cover it with the contact paper to finish your placemat. Be sure to clean up!
