Do you love music? Do you play a musical instrument? Can you tell one note from another?
Craft Project Directions:
To make this craft project you will need colored construction paper, scissors, crayons, and
a pipe cleaner, and two black pom-poms.
To begin, look at musical notes or sheet music for some inspiration.
Next to create a simple musical note, cut out two medium size ovals from your black construction
paper and two thin black rectangles. Glue or tape the thin black rectangles
to the ends of the ovals pointing upwards. These will become part of your marvelous musical note.
Next take your pipe cleaner and, leaving about a two inch straight piece somewhere in the middle of the pipe cleaner, bend down the two ends
of the pipe cleaner. The two lengths of the pipe cleaner pointing downwards should be uneven. Use the picture as a guide.
Next attach the two black notes you made from the black construction paper to the ends of the pipe cleaners.
Now glue on a black pom-pom to each black oval. These will hang below the book and show
you where to begin your reading again.
Decorate your Musical Note Bookmark further if you wish.
Let it dry.
Now use your bookmark to hold your place as you read or give it to someone special.
