Triceratops ![]() Triceratops was a large horned dinosaur which lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 68 million years ago. Triceratops, which means 'three-horned face', was about 30 feet long, 10 feet tall, and walked on four legs, is thought to have lived in small herds, and was a herbivore.
