The Potawatomi lived in parts of Michigan and were part of a confederacy called the Three Fires. The confederacy was comprised of the Potawatomi, the Ojibwa, and the Ottawa. They lived in wigwams and fished, hunted, and farmed. Their chief, Wabaunesee, sided with the US in the War of 1812.
