Water

Water is the earth's most common substance. Water is everywhere. It covers more than 70% of the earth's surface. The human body is about two-thirds water. Every living thing consists mostly of water. Water is used for cleaning, cooking, and bathing. It is used for irrigation, for industry, for power, for transportation, and for recreation and fun. the earth's water moves from the oceans, to the air, to the land, and back to the oceans in what is called the water cycle. Water changes from one form to another as it moves- it can be a solid, a liquid, or a gas.
