Utah is a state located in the western United States in the Rocky Mountain region. The capital of Utah is Salt Lake City. The state bird is the California Seagull, the state flower is the Sego Lily, the state insect is the European Honey Bee, the the state tree is the Blue Spruce. Utah became the 45th state on January 4, 1896.
